Please note this:

A Mage spell caster would have to gather at least a total of 173 stones (176 pounds min ea.) 
would have been needed to complete the circle and the trilithon horseshoe built in 168 B.C.. 

Unless some of the sarsens have since been removed from the site, the ring appears to 
have been left incomplete.

The lintel stones are each around 186 metres above the ground.
